Re: Powder River Expedition of 1865

From Circle of Fire : The Indian War of 1865 pp 131 - 132
"As he was writing his instructions to Walker, Cole learned that Sioux had attacked a small guard of Company K of the 2nd Missouri Light Artillery that had been herding some company horses a mile distant from camp. The Indians succeeded in driving off nineteen or twenty of the animals. Cole ordered the command to pursue the raiders, leaving only a few to guard the camp. An advance party of seven men under Capt. Edward S. Rowland was the first to engage the Sioux, killing several and recovering the stock. But another band of about forty-five warriors appeared suddenly from a gully, killing Sergeant Holt and three others and mortally wounding the remaining two enlisted men. One of the wounded men came wandering into camp. He wore only a shirt and was taken for an Indian before his true identity was discovered. He had been shot several times with arrows. His head and hair were a mass of blood, with deep gashes on his face and head. A little farther on, they found the other man, his body pierced with arrows and a bullet hole through his stomach. He had been stripped and scalped, his skull completely bare. One of the wounded had been shot with a poisoned arrow, sealing his fate."
I believe that the "Advance party" referred to in the above excerpt consisted of the following individuals:
Capt. Edward S. Rowland (Company K 2nd Art.), Sgt. Larkin L. Holt (Company K 2nd Art.), Corp. Robert W. Walker (Company K 2nd Art.), Pvt. Abner Garrison (Company K 2nd Art.) Pvt. Jesse Easter (Company K 2nd. Art.), Pvt. George Cooper (Company L 2nd Art.), Pvt. George W. Jackson (Company L 2nd Art.).
My research has revealed that Sgt. Larkin Holt is buried in the Robberson Cemetery near Springfield, Missouri. I have been unable to find the burial locations of the rest of these men and would appreciate any information on them.
Thank you.
