Thanks for your interest. I am also seeking information relating to the life of Thomas Moonlight.

The ScotlandsPeople Website contains the following information. Thomas Moonlight baptised 30th September 1833 about two months earlier than is usually stated (he seems not to have known his birthday and adds to the mystery of the boy leaving Scotland at such a young age). He is registered as being from St Vigeans, son of Thomas Moonlight and Agnes Stott.

Another Thomas Moonlight 11th June 1832,also St Vigeans and son of David Moonlight and Helen Mill was a cousin of the other Thomas. The evidence points to Thomas (1833) being the one who went to the USA.

I would be pleased to hear of your work and other information related to his life and the other Moonlights.

I am a direct decendent from the brother of Thomas (1833)-a James Moonlight.
