Hi Jenny, I expect you know where George Fairweather Moonlight was born, parents etc. Thomas Moonlight's (the soldier) father Thomas, born 7 May 1802 had a few brothers. One brother, David, born 12 July 1806, married Helen Mill and their second child was Thomas, born 11 June 1832. He may have been the cousin who accompanied George in his quest for gold. George, born 26 August 1832 was slightly younger than his cousin. George was born in Glenbervie, Kincardineshire, I think the first son and second child to James Moonlight and Jane Lindsay.
