Thanks for the info on John Moonlight. I have a photocopy of a 4 page article "In The Footsteps Of The Moonlights" written by Alasdair Sutherland, BA, ALA, from a book I found in Arbroath library. (the home town of the family we are researching) I will be happy to send you a copy if you give me your mailing address.
It looks like William, the eldest brother, is the guy I am looking for. My wife was married to a Moonlight and both her sons and grandson bear this surname. Her husband was William Thomas Moonlight.
