You may not have meant to post to mine, but I was glad to read it anyway. I'm grateful your ancestors lived. Don't you wonder, how after they saw and experienced such carnage that they were ever able to be OK?. You're so right, what a traumatic time--words can't describe. I had ancestors, some born and named the exact same name, who fought on the Confederate side. I wish I knew more abut them too.First cousins fighting first cousins--how much tougher can than get?
