Strangely enough, the Confederate States Navy web page of John E. Ellis does not contain a photo of the Whittle grave at Norfolk. If you do have such an image, I am sure John would be most happy to include it at his web site (see the link below).
Additionally, if you know of other CSN or CSMC burial sites, please advise John, David M. Sullivan (who is interested mainly in the officers of the CSN - DSulli7875@aol.com), and me, as we are all collecting such important information for our databases. Dave intends to eventually publish his work - a biography of all the officers of the CS Navy.
