Johnny Reb:
Thank ye kindly for the records. I am thinking the John Province living with the Clines may be the one I am looking for. One of his other sisters married into the Clines. I am thinking John served in 77th, was discharged & went back into the 186th.
Would you be able to check for 2 others? If not, I would appreciate the weblink/source where I may obtain these service records.
His brother, James Province, served in the 25th Ohio, mortally wounded at Chancellorsville. Reportedly buried at Fredericksburg.
Their future brother-in-law, Benjamin Nose/Noes, served in 93rd Ohio. I believe he served at Chickamauga and Siege of Atlanta. Many thanks, again. Susan
