It sounds like you had a good tour.While on your tour did you by chance check out Winstead Hill or the Carnton Plantation and also the Confederate Cemetary? If you did not the next time you go back to Franklin those are three places well worth visting.The only trouble with visting Winstead Hill is that when you try to view the battle field you have a Target store in front of you,but if you can look past it you will get a good idea of just how big the battle really was.
