A physical description was not found in the Compiled Military Service Records of Henry C. KENDALL in the 8th Virginia Infantry [CSA], nor was a physical description extracted from the other Fort Delaware only record in which his name was found. Such description might be there, but someone will have to get the microfilm out at the Society Archives & Library and see. Your best bet is to get a copy of Henry C. KENDALL's Compiled Military Service Records for the 1st Connecticut Cavalry [USA]. His enlistment in the Union army dated 1 OCT 1863 likely has a personal description. The Society does not have a copy of his 1st Connecticut CMSR.
