Another question for Hugh
Greetings Hugh, A lot has been found about the Kendall's in the War. But I need to put that final nail in the puzzle. According to the newspaper article it gave a physcial description of Henry M. Kendall who I very much suspect was really Henry C. Kendall of Company F. 8th Va. Infantry. We know that Henry C. Kendall was taken to Fort Delaware for the records bear that out. I further understand that a physcial description would have been made on Henry C. Kendall while a prisoner at Fort Delaware. I know the micro-film records on Fort Delaware Prison are in Washington DC at NARA. However, does the Fort Delaware Society have those micro-film records also? Henry M. Kendall was well over 6 feet in height with black hair. His brothers David and Gilmore are living in the same area in the 1880's that being Coshoston, Ohio area. Everything is adding up I just need one more confirmation. Thx
