Most of the deck logs you're going to find are in the National Archives in Washington, DC. They contain a veritable treasure-trove of information, most of it untouched. You would not believe the information you can find in some of the logs - while others are a total waste of time, totally devoid of information.

That's the good news. It's also the bad news. If you want the information from the logs, you pretty much have to go up there and get it yourself. They do have a really neat scanner that lets you make copies of the pages you want, for a price (was 50 cents a page, may be more now). But no one has ever put the material on line, or in books, or anywhere else. Maybe a few lines here or there, but nothing significant.
