Does anyone know the names of the four Union troop transports that cut their way through the bayou above New Madrid, Mo. to bypass the Confederate guns on Island No. 10? I would be interested in any accounts of this siege from the navy's perspective, having seen reports in the OR from the defender's side, specifically Trudeau, McCown, etc.
