Mike, I have checked the accounts given in volume 1 of BATTLES AND LEADERS OF THE CIVIL, and David Porter's own HISTORY OF THE NAVY IN THE CIVIL WAR, but neither gives the names of the transports. Perhaps they were considered as unimportant enough to name, or they were just inadvertently omitted. The BATTLES AND LEADERS account includes a listing of the opposing forces, which only names the USN vessels involved, and their respective commanders, but nothing is shown of the transports. Perhaps you may have to check the actual deck logs of the Navy vessels involved for some mention of these transports.
