My GGG grandfather, the father of the one who spoke ill of the Creeks, was in the 1813-1814 Creek War with Colonel Cunningham's 1st Georgia Militia, I thit it was Colonel Cunningham, but it may have been Captain. His name was William Whitlock, from Jefferson Georgia. He moved the family in 1821 to Waterloo Alabama, up on the Tenneessee river.
