I'm not sure this post was ever built. It was on the Caney (aka Little Verdigris) almost straight north of Pawhuska OK (Osage Capital) after the Osage were moved from Kansas to the Cherokee Outlet. It is east of Elgin KS and just across the KS line in what is now Osage County. It is shown in the Atlas to the ORs (the map is dated 1867).
