Jackson, wasn't too keen on the removal until the discovery of gold in Georgia, then removal became necessary.

My Grandpa used to tell of the massacre that Crockrt tellsabout. His Grandpa who was living in the tuscumbia Alabama area, told him. My grandpa, A.D. Whitlock Sr. hated Creeks, but moved from Alabama in the 1930 and moved right in the middle of them. Strange how things work,,

Ft Cobb was an established Fort in the center of the area, Anadarko Agency was 26 miles away to the East and the was no clear need for Ft. Sill, except for Custer's pettiness.
