Well, you are right, David, there were two sets of fanatical people, and you are right, my message was directed at the abolitionists ones. So feel free to make all the significant remarks you have about the Southerners you like. Why would I want to stop you? But my mission is that of a Yankee, true and blue, trying to see what the Yankee-biased histories are trying to avoid saying about the Civil War,and that's what I intend to keep doing and saying, as you will do the opposite, and that's fine with me. That's how you resolve the truth, by hearing BOTH sides of issues, not just the one, all-pervading slanted view of our history that we've been listening to, lo these last 150 years. I've heard it all; I understand it all. Now, it's time to tell, as Paul Harvey has said . . . . the rest of the story.
So keep it up David, but you ought to look for something new to say, not just rehash what has already been said over and over for over a century. We are all so familiar with that.
