I don't think you can ever do an injustice to history by telling the truth. What is it you said:
"When a real Missouri elite, General Sterling Price, met Anderson for the first time, he was shocked and dismayed, and promptly sent Anderson away."
Yes, you are absolutely right, but the truth got screwed up a litle bit. He sent him away with a couple orders to tear up the railroads in northern Missouri. You don't appear to know much about the subject about which you pontificate.
