I know he is trying to start a Corp for those that have present day service and age injuries. So that they can still be re-enactors and not just sit in camp or become "dandies" and be able to give them a choice according to thier disabilities and ability. Not many people know about the VRC and what they did after thier injuries.

My own gggrandpa was sent home just before the seige of Vicksburg. A man from the 17th TN asked to go home after being injured and was sent home.
