Hugh, thanks for the correction on Captain Lemon. I don't have his record; my info came from a relative of his who at one time had a site for the 18th Ga. He apparently gave it up. Should I acquire a copy of his record, I'll send it to you. Thanks for the definition of gunshot wound. Now I know for sure that Uncle Frank was wounded twice. Apparently the first, in September 1863, was not as serious as the May, 1864 wound at Spottsylvnia. They went through the cornfield at Antietam and the wheatfield at Gettysburg without a scratch. I guess Uncle Frank's luck began to run out after then. Their being captured might have saved their lives. Stan
