I am still searching for a picture of the crew od the USS Clifton. I'm sure you must know by now that Daniel D.T. Nestell's papers have been digitilized and are online. "Pictures of the Clifton crew" is listed,but refered to some of the officers...not "The Crew". In the report written by Dr. Nestell, he did list my great grandfather, Thomas McCann as, "wounded, recovered". If either of you find any clues to locating the picture please pass them on.
