To Edward Catham Jr, Gee whizz did I miss the boat...After googling you and Dr. Nestell I see you are well acquainted with his material in the Nimitz Library. If you haven't found photos of the crew I guess they are not there.The person at the New Orleans Museum said that there were many professional photographers during the Civil War and that the pictures probably belong to a personal estate. Maybe they will show up on e bay someday.
