Thanks for the response Scott, I think its great you named your son Sterling but I wonder how poplar that name is in the Jayhawker state. I was born & raised not far from Pap`s hometown (Keytesville MO) they have a small Sterling Price museum there with lots of info on him...He is well thought of in MO.

BTW I have some RICE relatives, would you be related to the Archibald Rice who was a well know settler in Jackson Co MO.? he came out of Caswell Co NC to MO about 1825.
My connection is his dau. Susannah Adoline RICE who mrd. Jeremiah Jackson 1827 in Howard Co MO.
