Thank you David, have book on order at Library.and will be talking with Arnold tomorrow.

I keep finding all sorts of conflicting info on the "net".

I do have pension papers of father John FLORA and of Daniel R B FLORA. Daniel served in the 7th Reg KS Cav Vols, (Feb 1864-Sep 1865) under Capt James Smith, & Lt.s Wildy and Campbell.

Received word this day there are NO pension papers for "V P" nor baby brother John A FLORA who served in 11th Reg KSM.

O read where you had a copy of the microfilm, could you look to see if by chance any Shilta/z are also in the 11th? John married Mary Shults 10 Feb 1867 and he and Daniel went to Wilson County (3 Jun 1869 became Montgomery County) Liberty before it moved east to the railroad,in Verdigris Twp when still Osage Ceded Terrotory. My aunt Hattiette was born 17 Sep 1869,(she was; "American Mother of 1937") Wm Cutler wrote " she was first white child born in Montgomery County." http://www.kancoll.org/books/cutler/labette/labette-co-p15.html

Again thanks for your help.
