Re: Captured Chaplains and Surgeons at Fort McHenr

There was a detachment of the 4th Mississippi Infantry captured at Fort Henry but the regiment as a whole was captured at Fort Donelson. I bring this up because Chaplin J.P. Richardson of the 4th Mississippi Infantry would die at the Camp Chase Prison in early March of 1862 however he was probably captured at Fort Donelson.
