Mr. Lawson,

You will need to check your ancestors' Compiled Military Service Record (CMSR) to see if you had passed through Louisville. As I stated in my original post, Louisville was a way station of sorts while Federal officials decided the disposition of a prisoner. I am looking for correspondence, guidance, and policy on determining how this disposition was to take place.

You can obtain the CMSR through this website at the top center of the page.
