Wow! Brownwater Navy Web Site Return'g?
In Response To: Re: Brownwater Navy Web Site ()

Gary,

This is great! I finally have come along side of the lad who made such a super sight and then when whe I turned around to tell others you were slipped beneath the waves. Although I lit off a few Coston lights, you had vanished.

So happy to know you'll be back soon. I was just thrilled to actually see images of the men I have been studying who were attached to these vessels as army signalmen.

I've since gotten hooked up with the coal-fired hand-fed Steam Tug BALTIMORE (soon to be 100 years young) and am hoping we can get outfitted to sail on the Potomac, York and James Rivers during the 150th anniversary of the Civil War. We also have aeroauts who'd like to work with us to barge a balloon the 2011-13 jaunt.

The Tug's URL is: http://www.steamtug.org

Tnx so much for sharing all you know about the Brownwater Navy.
