I didn't hear that Frederick. I did ask one guy if it was local stuff and he said yes but that he didn't know any names. There is a HUGE collector in the Mechanicsville area that I suspected. His health is failing so I thought he might be letting go of some stuff. But I never imagined he owned any gun tubes. Well I feel so much better now that Ron contributed. He is a wealth of knowledge on artillery. And you too of course. So......in the last 9 months I have fondled 4 period cannon barrels that were not in NPS control and craddled in my arms the actual fifth bunting issue ANV Battleflag of the Ninth Virginia Cavalry (carried by Walter Scott Callis and not surrendered) BEFORE conservation. I'm on a roll. Hahaha.
