On further research, Wayne Starks's registry. The six pounder at Fredericksburg is on Prospect Hill. (Jackson's line) It's a Cyrus Alger, registry number 92, inspector LABW, foundry 53, 874 pounds, 15 right hand grooves, date 1853. The 2.9 Tredegar Parrott is on the list at Spotsylvania as is the US 3 inch Parrott, model 1863, West Point Foundry. But no mention of the bronze six pounder with the strange bore configuration. I know this list (on the internet) is incomplete. Maybe you have more info on this piece. I am assuming that the Springfield, Mass markings make it an Ames tube. Any input?
