Thanks for the letter reference, we have a scatter of Federal encampment artifacts from an area near Walkers Bend and the Goodnight farm, which looks more like 2nd MI Cav stuff than Infantry, which is why I was interested in finding any new documents pertaining to the identity of the guard detail in that area, post battle.
