I am sorry for the long delay in getting back to you, my wife was in the hospital for over a month. She was very interested to hear that there is still deafness in your family. She would be just as excited to hear from other members of your family as she is to hear from you. I know that one of the goals she has in this project is to researchas much about the general's family as himself. She has done quite abit of reading on John's brother Frederick, which she found easier to do than to read about the general, due to the amount of literature that is out there.
