Company B, 9th Michigan Infantry

This company seems to have been recruited in Niles, Michigan and I was wondering if any of you buffs know about Niles newspapers that are available to peruse. I would like to find out about the soldiers in this company as they were stationed in the Murfreesboro Courthouse when Colonel Forrest attacked the depot and garrisons there on July 13, 1862. I believe Leonard J. Wright was in command at the time, Captain Rounds being absent and/or having found separate quarters. I know some did not think to highly of Rounds in the regiment. Anyway, any info on these men would be great. I do know that Lt. Wright died in Newtown, Connecticut, but I do not know if he is buried there or not. Also that Lt. Moses Powell joined the Sharpshooters, probably coaxed by Captain DeLand of Company C who became Colonel of that regiment, and was sentenced to the Dry Tourges for cowardice and abandoning his company in combat several times.
