Yes Michelle Frederick Platts is mentioned in C.O. Smith's letter. It seems like Mr. "Plats" was hurt in action and C.O. sent his wife Nancy his address as Carver Hospital, Ward 8, Washington D.C. I will be happy to send you the letter and pertaining info to you if I knew where to send it. Have you found any pictures of the 6th, as of now I haven't had much luck.
