I'm sorry. Most of the information was gleaned from Ancestry.com. I grew up in Virginia and know the Summerville Ford area of the Rapidan - long stretch of calm water, most of the time. Knowing that they all served in the 6th Mi Cav made it a bit easier to find them, then check census records and whatever else was available.
