Connie... I have added your e-mail to my custom list and have sent my first transcribed document, "The Life of Marcus D. Tenney" from the Kansas State Collections, Vol. 11, 1909-1910. I will work on some additional references but thought this one the most pertinent to a biography of Captain Marcus DeLafayette Tenney, First Kansas Battery. It does confirm the story of Tenney capturing Santa Anna's cork leg during the battle of Cerro Gordo, Mexican War. This might be traceable as the biography notes that it ended up in the Springfield, Illinois museum.

Hope you find this interesting and enjoy it.

Thanks,
Howard Mann
