Thanks Bryce:

If I can get back home ( I came to Orlando for the storm Wilma) Naples, FL, the library notified me they have Buresh's "The Battle of Mine Creek" waiting for me.(my neighbor said my unit did NOT get flooded, all windows still in place but air-condition units on roof of our 3-story building are gone, and thou ours is ok, two of six roofs at our complex on Naples Bay were torn off. NO water, NO electricity.

I'm told by two others, the 11th KSM was under Col Moonlight and did battle with Price's men at Mound City, Little Osage Rv and Deerfield, MO. Wm G Cutler's 1883 Kansas History also has my John A fighting in MO. (Score: 2 in MO, & 2 in KS.)

My g,grandfather John A FLORA's brother "V P" was with him but other brother Daniel R B was, from Feb 1864 to Sep 1865, with Co C, 7th Kans Cav, ---- but where was it duruing the battles with Price's men, at Mine Creek, Mound City, Little Osage, etc. The 7th followed Price across Missouri and down state line to Mine Creek.
