1. "Anadarko: Days Of Glory" (1,218 pages)
2. "The Long Blue Line, Civil War Union Soldiers and Sailors Buried in Oklahoma" (754 pages)
3. "A Time Remembered, The Verden, Oklahoma Cemetery" (332 pages (The full book is viewable but not the word search...yet. The Google people are working on the problem.)
4. "Birth and Death Notices in Oklahoma and Indian Territories From 1871" (194 pages)
EVERY word in the every book is supposed to be searchable, but sometimes it doesn't work right because the process is still in the Beta stage.
Follow these easy steps:
1. Go to www.books.google.com
2. Under Search Books type in quotes or cut and paste, the EXACT title of each book
3. Within the referenced entry, Click on About This Book
4. Under Search in this book type a word (or any family name). If you use two words, inclose them in QUOTES.
5 The search results should be lightlighted in Yellow.
6. At the bottom of these first few entries Click on More for every mention of that name in the book.
HINT: You may want to click on the small PLUS SIGN at the top of the page to make the images larger.
Google reports all kinds of numbers on their book program. They tell me the pages in my four books have been viewed 18,388 times in the first several days. Amazing.
