Re: Capt Curtis Johnson, Co. E 15th Ks

I think you will find that the Kelso material will be very difficult to examine. Wilson's Creek obtained a copy and are trying to get through it. The first half is writings by Kelso on many subjects from Religion to Politics, Philosophy and so on. About the last half is material relative to the war. He gives us a fresh look at the Battle of Springfield, Jan. 8, 1863. Most useful material in fact. One of the researchers went out to California where the book is located but couldn't access what she was after.

The Cpt. O. B. Owen's Q. M. Book's should be very interesting to work with. I know that name from some where but can't place it at the moment. I should think Owen's answers many questions in so far as who was issued what and when.

I will send you by attachment the 10th Ks material in the next day or so.
