Capt Curtis Johnson, Co. E 15th Ks

Can anyone put me on track as to what happend to Captain Curtis Johnson after he was wounded in an exchange of pistol shots between Colonel McGhee of McGhee's Arkansas Cavalry on the 23rd October 1864 at Westport. He was listed as severely wounded and I have no further reference to him. Did he survive the war? If so where did he live and where is he buried? It would also help if he left any accounts of his incident with McGhee.
