Re: Capt Curtis Johnson, Co. E 15th Ks

Been pretty busy Howard, mostly with family affairs since my father passed. I have been deeply involved in transcribing and preparing a manuscript of Hindman's papers (a big project almost completed), that and completing the rosters of Shelby's entire brigade, which is now in its edit stage, and finally Marmaduke's records are done and also in edit. The document you asked about with regards to the 10th Kansas Provost marshal reference is actually in the Shelby Brigade material with regards to a shelby man being executed shortly after the Price Raid. I have that and will send it by attachment if you want. The Hickok material is always something I am after in so far as his participation in the war. I have been looking into his connection with captain John Kelso who is very much like Hickok. We have Kelso's manuscript and he mentions Hickok in there somewhere. It is a wretched long and rambling document, but it is historic.
