Just my two cents worth off the cuff. The attack against Asst. Sur. Fairchild, occurred at Stone's Farm. I can't be positive but this may have been the farm of CPT L.H. Stone, formerly of Clarkson's Bn and Clark's Mo Inf Rgt. By Apr 1864 CPT Stone was commanding a band of guerrillas in and around Franklin Co., Ar. I believe a late 19th century history of Franklin Co may have info on it (possibly Goodspeed's). As for primary documents or sources, I haven't come across any myself.
