Well, I have erred. In Federal reports [Official Records of the War of the Rebellion, Series I, Volume 13, pp. 325-328], Gen. Blunt reports the capture of three 6-pounders and a 12-pounder; [other documents discuss their disposition to Capt. Henry Hopkins (a company commander in the 2nd Kanas Cavalry) and under whom the 3rd Kansas Battery of Light Artillery is formed].
Blunt speaks of having two little mountain howitzers at the beginning of the battle and there is mention of chasing the Rebels with four howitzers.
I had it in mind that at Honey Springs the howitzers attached to the 6th Kansas were from Hopkins' battery, but now believe they were not. My apologies.
