Terry...... As far as I know, no one has located any of the information you referenced. So, if during your research you run across information on Fort Lincoln, please let me know.

The layout of the land is interesting. The Osage river crosses over a bridge and the remains of the fort apparently are on both sides of the bridge sloping down towards the water in heavily wooded terrain.

Some of our group had been over the land years before when it may have been less wooded. We did not go into the woods but discussed the history as known and the property in general.

Could be a fascinating story. If you can recall the executions, that may be a place to start.
