I am a bit late throwing my two cents into this business involving Fort Lincoln Howard, but do you have a copy of the map drawn by Christian Isley of Fort Lincoln? He was in the 2nd Kansas Cavalry stationed there for a time. I found that map in his papers about fifteen years ago and sent a copy off to KHS. It was quite a find at the time. The original is in the Wichita State University Special Collections. Arnold should have a copy I think. Naturally I have a copy and can copy it to a computer file and send it to anyone who would like to have one. It is a very impressive lay out.
