I have found a picture in the WSU special collections of a man standing by his horse armed with a sabre, pistol and carbine, wearing a shell jacket, baggy (probably light blue pants) and a round short brim hat. The heading said he was a member of the 6th Kansas, no name or company given. I have seen this picture published somewhere. I couldn't get a copy at the time. Have to get special permission to get a copy. Will advise when it is available.
