OK. I know over the years I have corresponded with several different people who had ancestors in the 6th Kansas Cav. However, except for a few exceptions, I did not keep a record. What I propose, providing Jim does not mind, is to use this board to compile a list of people who have ancestors in the 6th and are interested in the history of the 6th. My two ancestors in the 6th were; Joseph Handford, Co. A and Charles Handford, Co. A. ( somtimes Handford is spelled without the "d".)
