I am slowly, as my job allows, working on a comprehensive roster of the 6th Ks Cav. I've already transcribed the Rgt desc. roll and am almost completed adding the AG report info to it. Next I'll be entering a small portion of the info I obtained on a breif research trip to KSHS in Topeka. You mentioned you had ancestors in the 6th-would you be willing to provide their names and military service records to my research, along with some basic personal/family info? It would be greatly appreciated! I'm willing to provide you with any information that I have on the 6th Ks.
