Re: Frederick Fout enlists into a unit-Untold Stor

Hey Johnny Reb, Thank you very much, The Thomas C from Maine is the Father of my Thomas Corwin Tuttle, He died in 1873 in Indiana he was run over and had his skull crushed by a team of oxen? or Horses, Thomas Corwin died in 1926 in Fulton Indiana at his sons home, I have the Pension card that said invalid Pension?? I wonder what that means,we know he served in the 15th from 1862 to 1865 ,I have his records from the NARA,but they are just Cards for attendance at that specific Month,,he enlisted and was made Corpral in 1862, and then he was in the Hospital in MD 1 month prior to Harpers Ferry, then Present in Sept for Harpers Ferry, he was made Sargentry while in the Hospital in 1862 Aug, and then Sept 24, 1863 he was demoted to Private,I guess he made someone very mad?? Is what I got from the NARA all I can get or is there a detailed description of his service, from 1862 to 1865?? I have been in touch with Renee and David today and learned a lot on the 15th Indiana Light Artillery Battery. Thank you for all the information you sent,It was very helpful. Thanks again.
