I have been researching the Battle of Richmond for years and had not come across your Great Uncle, so thank you very much. I was searching for any additional info I could find Re:1th Indiana when I found your uncle, and then your post on this message board. I am almost 90% finished writing a book on the Battle of Richmond, due out this spring at the latest. My deployment to Afghanistan in 2002 and then Iraq 2004 interrupted and postponed it, but now it is finally almost complete. Any more info that I find on Pvt.Stewart I will post for you ASAP.
