Thank You Michael~For Your HELP!! I really appreciate your looking into the matter! James Allen Bone (J.A.) and his wife Mary(nee Wallace) were a young married couple farming several hundreds of acres of the great Tennessee earth in Dickson County, TN. They are listed in the 1860 Federal Census, and had just started their family with 2 young children, 1 daughter and 1 son~Myra and William(named for James' Father). They had 3 more children after that period in time: Susan and John and James Jr...and that is all that I know except that for some reason in 1864, he was in IL., where he died. I do not know where in IL?...and thus far I have not made contact with anyone who knows or has info! Foohey! Thank you for your suggestions..I did see when I looked there for James Bone (2) James A. Bone yet both were in regiments that originated elsewhere (Ohio and can't remember the other one)...well they were organized or originated out of other states not TN., yet they were assigned to fight the war there and arrived in TN..one of those regiments mustered out in TN., the other continued on else where..I guess he could have joined up after those out of state regiments arrived into TN...? I don't know. I will continue to research the matter..I am determined to know what happened to him and to find where he is buried!

God Bless You Michael,
~Mary
